Beard Transplant

Hair Transplant

Beard transplants are becoming more and more popular, and Istanbul has long been the secret capital of beard transplants.

Not only hair, but also beards, can be transplanted. Often men suffer from partially bald patches in their beard or simply think that their beard is too thin. This can be hereditary, but also caused by drug treatments, an accident or trauma.

For beard transplantation, the same techniques are used as for hair transplantation. Nowadays, the FUE technique or the FUE-Sapphire technique is mainly preferred.

Again, the hair follicles are taken from the back of the head and then inserted into the beard area. Sometimes the lower chin area is also considered as a donor area, where the beard grows more densely. Before the beard transplantation starts, the surgeon determines exactly how the beard line should run.
