FUE Sapphire Hair Transplant

Hair Transplant

FUE Sapphire hair transplant focuses on the channel opening stage of the treatment, through the use of specialist sapphire — rather than steel — blades.

FUE Sapphire hair transplant is a variation of the FUE hair transplant technique that uses a special type of surgical tool made of sapphire crystal to perform the procedure.

The sapphire tool used in FUE Sapphire hair transplant has a smooth, sharp edge that allows for more precise and controlled incisions, which can minimize tissue trauma and reduce the risk of damage to the hair follicles during the extraction and transplantation process. The sapphire tool also creates smaller incisions, which can lead to a faster healing time and less visible scarring.

One of the main benefits of FUE Sapphire hair transplant is that it can result in a more natural-looking hairline, as the smaller incisions allow for more control over the angle and direction of the transplanted hairs. The Sapphire method is safer than traditional methods because the hair follicles or surrounding tissue are not damaged with this method. This increases the success of the hair transplant.

Like traditional FUE hair transplant, FUE Sapphire hair transplant is an outpatient procedure that can typically be completed in a single day, and patients can expect to see full results within 6-12 months after the procedure. However, it’s important to note that FUE Sapphire hair transplant may be more expensive than traditional FUE hair transplant due to the use of specialized surgical tools.

What is FUE hair transplant method?

FUE – Follicular Unit Extraction. The most preferred method for hair transplant. This technique allows you to take the largest amount of donor hair and minimize the percentage of rejects when removing the grafts.

Is hair transplant with FUE method painful?

No, the FUE technique is painless. As the procedure is performed under local anesthesia, you will not feel any pain during the operation. However, you may feel some light pain in the first days after the surgery, which can be easily handled with normal painkillers.

How many grafts can be transplanted?

During one session, normally maximum 5,000 grafts will be transplanted. I case you need more, the doctor will recommend a second session after 6 months.

What is the difference between the DHI and the FUE method?

During the FUE method, grafts are collected from the donor area, put into a liquid and transplanted as soon as all grafts were collected.
