Acıbadem Kocaeli Hospital, which has been part of the Acıbadem Healthcare Group since 2006, is the sixth hospital of the Acıbadem Group. With 61 patient beds, 18 intensive care beds and 3 operating theatres in a closed area of 6,500 square metres, high quality is offered in all medical fields, especially oral and dental medicine, hair transplantation, orthopaedics and traumatology, general surgery, dermatology, ear, nose and throat medicine and paediatrics. The microsurgical method used in the Department of Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which speeds up the post-operative recovery process and causes less pain, is to be brought in line with the developing technology.

At Acıbadem Kocaeli Hospital, the bright, sunny rooms have been designed to meet the needs of patients and their families. All rooms, which are divided into standard, type A and type B suites, have televisions, mini-fridges, internet, private safes and newspaper service. In the standard rooms, a double seat is provided for the patient’s relatives, and in the A suites, a separate area from the patient area. The rooms in the B-type suites are characterised by their floor-to-ceiling windows and sea view, and are equipped with armchairs, chairs and a desk for the nursing staff.

Mustafa İdiz, a physician specialising in cardiovascular surgery and a graduate of Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University Medical School who has worked for Acıbadem Healthcare Group since 2007, is the hospital’s chief physician.
