Op. Dr. Ömer Avlanmış has been practicing obesity / weight loss surgery in Istanbul for 15 years. His highly qualified training, as well as his many years of experience, allow Op. Dr. Ömer Avlanmış to provide his patients with a special level of knowledge and understanding, as well as a patient-centered approach. In particular, he specializes in gastric surgery.

Op. Dr. Ömer Avlanmış graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Uludag University in Bursa and trained as a specialist in adipostasis and bariatric surgery at the same university. He received his PhD from Şişli Eftal Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul in 2008 with the thesis “Efficacy and surgical-histopathological correlation of endorectal ultrasound and phase array MRI (2008) in lower third rectal cancer during preoperative staging”. In total, Dr. Ömer Avlanmış can proudly refer to more than 4000 successful surgeries. Thanks to his extensive experience in this field, he is now considered a venerable specialist in Obesity / Weight Loss surgery, which do not allow any conclusions to be drawn.

He has been working as a surgeon at LİV Hospital Ulus for years.
