Peter JFM Lohuis is a surgeon at the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the Netherlands Cancer Institute – Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital in Amsterdam and at the Department of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery at the Lohuis Filipović Medical Group and Bergman Clinic.

He completed his surgical training in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at the Medical University Center in Utrecht and got his PhD there too.

After his training, he did additional postgraduate training included fellowships in head and neck oncology surgery, facial plastic reconstructive surgery, and head and neck microvascular surgery and reconstruction.

Dr. Lohuis has written a lot! His CV includes more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals, several book chapters and three published books.
